By registering, signing up and participating in classes at Origin Fitness Studio you are automatically agreeing to comply with the following terms and conditions. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website/studio. We reserve the right to update, change or modify any part of these terms and conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to check for any changes. Please read the following carefully and thoroughly and should you not agree to any of the terms and conditions please do not sign up to our classes. Condition of Entry
Origin Fitness Studio Ltd reserves the right to refuse entry to or eject any person who is deemed to be behaving disorderly, anti-social, intoxicated, aggressive, offensive, in a dangerous manner or in any manner which may threaten the security or safety of our clients or other people. Our studio is an inclusive environment and will not tolerate any kind of discriminatory behaviour.
Please note Origin Fitness Studio Ltd (inclusive of the instructors) is not responsible for any belongings brought into the studio by the client/s and the client chooses to bring their personal belongings in at their own risk.
Grip socks are mandatory for any reformer pilates class for health and safety purposes. You are welcome to bring a pair of your own, or you are able to buy a pair at the studio if needed.
The customer is recommended to arrive 5 minutes prior to their scheduled class. If the customer is new and it is their first time, it is essential to arrive 10 minutes early so that they have the opportunity to introduce themselves to the instructor and go through any health concerns and how to operate the reformer machine.
ANY previous/recent/chronic injury and/or pregnancy must be declared to the instructor, with the customer ensuring they have been cleared medically fit to participate in physical activity. The instructor reserves the right to decline entry to a class should they feel the class is unsafe for the client to participate in. The instructors at Origin Fitness Studio Ltd are not medical practitioners or rehabilitation specialists and therefore you should always consult your general doctor or healthcare provider for advice and medical clearance.
From time to time, a class may be filmed or photographed to be put onto social media. It is your responsibility to inform the instructor if you prefer not to be shown in our pictures or videos at the start of the class. We have no control over clients posting content from the classes/studios and this may be re-shared on our social media and website. We politely ask that clients who are choosing to take a photo or video in the studio be mindful of clients nearby.
Purchase Policy
All purchases made to Origin Fitness Studio Ltd are final and refunds, transfers or extensions on class packs are not offered nor provided.
It is mandatory that classes are prepaid via the GymMaster/Serenity app or website before attending any class. The purchase of a membership/concession pack allows the client to book classes according to their availability and what the purchase allows (i.e. a reformer concession card allows you to book a reformer session, not a barre session). Any purchases made of a membership/concession card is solely for your own personal use. All purchases are non-transferable between holders in any manner, such as; sold, traded, gifted, shared or transferred. Gift cards are available to purchase through Origin Fitness Studio Ltd either at the studio or online via email.
All concession cards and memberships have a strict expiry date whereby you have to use the given amount of classes by a certain date. For example, if you purchase a 5 weekly pass with 10 passes, your 10 passes will expire 5 weeks from the date of purchase NOT from your first class booked. No refunds or extensions will be issued.
Customer Cancellation Policy
It is the responsibility of the client booking the class to cancel their scheduled class via the app. Cancellations via email, phone or social media will not be accepted.
Origin Fitness Studio Ltd requests a minimum of 12 hours notice prior to a booked class for a cancellation. When a cancellation is made with less than 12 hours notice or failing to show up, your concession will be used. Providing you have given more than 12 hours notice of cancellation, you will be reimbursed your class pass and you may reschedule a booking/class to another date that suits you better provided there are slots and sessions available.
If you are added to a class after being on the waiting list, and you cancel within 12 hours before the class, the cancellation fee is still incurred. It is highly recommended that, if you are on the waiting list and your plans to attend change, you take yourself off the waiting list as soon as you can.
If you fail to attend a class (‘no-show’), you will automatically forfeit your credit and will not receive a refund.
In exceptional circumstances we will waive our cancellation policy. Extenuating circumstances includes; self or direct family member/s in hospital, death in direct family (parents, siblings, spouse and children).
Class Cancellation Policy
Origin Fitness Studio Ltd will endeavour to give as much notice as possible should a class have to be cancelled for unforeseen circumstances. This is highly unlikely but in the extreme case a class is cancelled, your class pass will be refunded back onto your account.
We reserve the right to change the timetable accordingly; sufficient notice will be given via the application and studio website.
Pricing and Refund Policy
We reserve the right to change our pricing of our services with sufficient notice being provided to our clients. Once that notice has been fulfilled, changes will be updated accordingly on the website and app. In the event of a discrepancy between prices on our site and prices on our application, the higher of the prices will prevail. The updated prices will not impact passes and bookings already paid for in full.
All prices on the site and in the application are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. All transactions will be billed to you in New Zealand dollars.
Origin Fitness Studio Ltd reserves the right to change our studio’s opening hours and class schedule. Should there be a change, clients will be given appropriate notice via the studio’s social media, website, timetable and app. Origin Fitness Studio Ltd is not liable in any way to provide the customer with a refund, credit, transfer or compensation of any kind.
All purchases are final. Origin Fitness Ltd does not offer refunds, transfers, suspensions or extension on concession cards. You may request a pause of a membership providing you have fulfilled the minimum contract of 4 months. This suspension has a maximum duration of 1 month and will automatically come back into effect after this time.
All payments are processed though Ezidebit, which is a third party online payment system. Any queries with regards to processed payments must be directed to Ezidebit, such as additional fees that may be charged due to insufficient funds resulting in memberships not being paid for.
Class Passes
Class passes/concession cards have specific validity dates from the date of purchase NOT date of first class.
Extensions on passes will only be granted due to extenuating circumstances. Origin Fitness Studio reserves the right to decide/deem what is an extenuating circumstance, examples such as sudden illness or injury or death of a direct family member.
Intro offers are specifically for those new to the studio. You may only use this once. If clients are found to be using this on multiple occasions using various accounts, Origin Fitness Studio Ltd reserves the right to charge the pass completely and deduct all passes remaining.
Memberships
By purchasing a membership, you are agreeing to the minimum term of a 4 month contract, maintaining payments of the specific membership you have signed up to. You must pay all fees and possible charges including GST for the term of the membership. If payment is not received or successful, Ezidebit may charge additional fees. Late cancellations (less than 12 hours prior to a scheduled session) or no shows will result in pass deduction.
Once the initial 4 month period has been completed, clients are able to suspend their membership for a maximum of 1 month. During this time, clients are unable to access any classes/bookings. Requests to extend the suspension period can be put forward to Origin Fitness Studio Ltd and it is their discretion to either accept or decline. An administrative fee may be incurred by the client.
