Wear clothing suitable for exercise which you feel comfortable and can move freely in. Grippy socks are essential for reformer classes and we recommend to bring a water bottle and small hand towel if you plan on getting sweaty! For health, hygiene and safety purposes, please avoid wearing jewelley and use of moisturisers/sunscreen on your skin which can damage the reformer upholstery. For mat pilates and barre, we will be lying down on the floor so you can bring your own mat or use a mat provided by the studio. If you intend on bringing your mobile, please ensure it is on silent prior to starting the class.
All classes are beginner friendly apart from Cardio Reformer which requires you to have a sound knowledge of how to use the reformer with ease and confidence. Open level reformer classes welcomes beginners but if you are feeling particularly nervous to use the reformer machine for the first time, then we recommend you start with a mat pilates class first of all to learn good technique and build your base level of fitness, or you can talk to us about booking a 1:1 session.
We are not medical professionals nor rehabilitation specialists, therefore it is crucial you receive medical advice from your medical practitioner for any injuries and/or medical conditions. Although we cannot treat or diagnose a medical complaint/injury, we can assist and support you after you have consulted with your general doctor/healthcare specialist and received guidance on your next steps. You must inform your instructor of any recent/chronic injury or medical conditions so that we can be mindful of this during your session/s.
At the moment, we have not timetabled a specific pre & post natal class. You must liaise with your doctor and receive medical clearance prior to attending a session and before you book, it is important you contact us so that we can discuss whether the class will be suitable or not. Please contact us via email.
The reformer uses a series of springs and pulleys to provide varied resistance whilst performing a variety of positions and movements. If this is your first time, we can't express enough the importance of coming to class 10 minutes early so that we have the opportunity to introduce yourself to the machine, explaining the different components and how it works.
New clients can create an account here. Once you have done this, you can book and manage your classes via the GymMaster/Serenity app and/or website. Please be aware no shows and client cancellations less than 12 hours before a scheduled class booking will be charged. Cancellations more than 12 hours of a scheduled booking will receive their class pass back. Please read our T&C's for further information.
If your chosen class is fully booked, you are welcome to opt in and be added to the waitlist. If someone cancels and you are next on the waitlist; you will be automatically given a space for that session, your pass will be deducted and you will be notified instantly that you have been booked in so you must keep an eye out for any notifications you receive. Please note, if your plans change and you can no longer attend the class you have joined the waitlist for, you will need to cancel this spot so that the next person in line will be added. Our cancellation policy applies to those who have joined the class via the waitlist, whereby cancellations within 12 hours of the scheduled class will incur a fee. Please note you can be added to a class up to 30 minutes (but no less than) before your chosen session so you must keep an eye out for any notifications you receive via the app.

As our studio is a small, intimate space without separate rooms, there is unfortunately not enough space to have children sitting in the studio during classes.
